One of the prime roles of Swing Canada is to function as a Reference Library and Resource Centre for those who wish to learn more about the dance and music from a historical, instructional, or current issues perspective. We have spent hundreds of hours researching the Internet, books and magazines. We have purchased videos, Cds, and documented events. We have reached out to the dance communities across North America with requests for donations. The response so far has been phenomenal. Many people, whose numbers are too large to name individually, responded with great generosity to help us compile a fine collection of the following : Music Instructional Videos Event Videos Books & Articles (print and electronic) All these materials are available to be shared in a responsible way. We are continually updating our collection and will be grateful to anybody who is willing to donate any resource materials.
